The British government is prepared to move forward with utilizing the full worth of frozen Russia's funds to bolster the Ukrainian military campaign, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has stated.

In a collective announcement, the leaders of the Britain, France, and the Federal Republic of Germany emphasized that this coordinated action would escalate tension on Moscow's head Vladimir Putin and compel the Russian Federation to engage in negotiations.

They clarified that the initiative would be carried out in strong partnership with the America.

UK restrictions have frozen more than £25bn of Russian resources since the Russian government began its full-scale invasion against the Ukrainian nation in 2022. Yet, until now, funds provided to Ukraine using Russian funds had exclusively been drawn from profits and interest generated on them.

Sir Keir assured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the Britain, the French Republic, and Germany were in agreement in their goal to drive progress toward employing the complete amount of the seized Russia's state holdings to conclude the conflict.

He noted that additional restrictions in the coming days and weeks would apply more pressure on Russia.
