Los Angeles witnessed widespread festivities after the Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series title. Fans across the globe united with local residents in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Los Angeles area events included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage depict countless of Los Angeles residents packing city center avenues, many carrying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The team was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
“My focus is already about the third time we’re going to do this,” the star player stated through an interpreter.
The parade route ended at the stadium, where the team walked out to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ providing music and Ice Cube cruising a Pacific blue classic car around the stadium’s outfield.

Celebrations began well before the parade, with Dodgers fans setting off fireworks in the streets of Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday night.
