Boxer's Mentality

In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
