A Second-Half Capitulation Leads to Old Firm Loss

Nancy’s Persistent Belief

The coach highlights the fact Celtic play well for 45 minutes at a time. For instance, if not for poor finishing they would have been more than 1-0 up. “There were positives except the fact that we haven’t scored more goals,” he said. “I know that we lost, but I have also to be objective.

“The performance we had at times was really, really, really high. That happened. I could not say that if it was different. Therefore, in terms of results, I noted it's a repeating pattern. Which is why I believe we are nearly there to getting it right. Right now: the fine margins.”

“There were many, many good things that we did, once more. But now is sustaining it. My narrative would be different if it was not the case. That’s why I am a big believer we will manage to fix this.”

The Rangers Boss Response

Rangers manager was cautious about a title charge despite what appeared to be a landmark win. “Step by step, so we can gradually build something here,” he said. “The faith in the squad is excellent.”
